Oakwood Meadows

Oakwood Meadows at Oakwood Village East offers a unique level of residential care for older adults in need of significant custodial care. It is a 20 bed licensed community based residential facility (CBRF) designed to meet the needs of individuals needing a high level of individual attention and significant assisstance with daily activities.

 

Oakwood Meadows has keypad-secured entry doors to protect residents who may have a tendency to wander. There is a comfortable dining room on the floor. An outdoor garden space and fenced in patio with views of the landscaped grounds allows residents to enjoy being outdoors in the warmer months while remaining in a safe setting.

Oakwood Meadows is a assest to the Madison community, filling a gap in the traditional continuum of care. Increasingly, individuals with advanced custodial needs have had to move to nursing homes. They are considered ineligible for "traditional" assisted living facilities because these programs do not offer enough assistance with residents' actvities of daily living. The Oakwood Meadows program provides the most independent environment possible for those in need of significant care, promoting socialization as well as meeting specific physical needs.
