Our Community

Oakwood’s two campuses - Oakwood Village East on Madison’s east side and Oakwood Village West on Madison’s near west side - operate as faith-based, not-for-profit continuing care retirement communities.

Both campuses were thoughtfully designed with buildings connected by indoor walkways.  Oakwood has received national recognition for its landscape design with many courtyards, gardens and walkways.   Each level of care within the continuum is designed for specific needs.  If you are planning to move to Oakwood Village but aren’t sure which level of care is most appropriate, our staff is happy to help you.  We want to see our residents succeed in their new home at Oakwood. Contact an admissions coordinator.

Oakwood Village East is located at 5565 Tancho Drive, Madison, WI 53718.  This beautifully landscaped 18-acre campus offers a full continuum of care and services at a tremendous value. Person's Name
"The thing I like the best about living at Oakwood is that if I get lonesome, there is always someone, anytime. I can stay as busy as I want.  There is always something to do, but if I want to stay in my apartment and relax, I have privacy to do that. I would tell people to make the move when you are young enough to enjoy all the things Oakwood has to offer."
